Top 17 Best Affiliate Marketing Niches to Focus On

Today, I want to share what I believe are the top 17 affiliate marketing niches. About a week ago, I wrote a detailed post sharing my top 25 affiliate marketing tips. In that post, I shared what I believe were the top 13 niches you could focus on to build a thriving affiliate marketing business. I have since expanded that list.

In this article, I am going to go into more detail about each niche. We’ll cover why you should consider it and what types of affiliate products you could promote. Keep in mind, this article is just my opinion, based on 9+ years of successful affiliate marketing.

Top 17 Affiliate Marketing Niches

What you see below are the best of the best. These niches have a hungry audience of people who are WILLING and ABLE to spend money to help them solve a problem, just what you are looking for.

# 1 Weight Loss

affiliate marketing nichesI’m going to put weight loss as the number one affiliate marketing niche you could focus on. Why? Because tens of millions of people are looking to lose weight AND they are willing and able to spend money on ANYTHING that will help them do that. Obesity is a huge problem in America and the rest of the world.

While there is a TON of competition in this affiliate marketing niche, there is also a ton of opportunity. Even if you capture just a small piece of the pie, you can make a fortune.

You could promote home study courses, training products, seminars, weight loss products, coaching and hundreds of other things to the weight loss crowd.

# 2 SEO

SEO stands for search engine optimization.

Search engine optimization (SEO) is the practice of increasing the quantity and quality of traffic to your website through organic search engine results.

Let’s keep it real for a minute. Anyone with a blog or website wants more traffic. More traffic leads to more sales and more money!

You could create a blog or YouTube channel about SEO and promote different affiliate products to your audience. What I like best about SEO is that is expensive. Many of the programs you can promote offer GENEROUS affiliate commissions. Even generating one or two sales per month could lead to a full-time income.

# 3 Website Design

Website design, website themes, custom plugins, and hosting are all BIG business. There are hundreds of millions of blogs and websites in existence, and many new ones popping up each day. This is a HUGE market that is willing to spend money.

You could sell a service and help people build websites. You could sell custom themes. You could create your own custom plugin. You could promote a hosting serving. You could do website reviews for people and give them ideas about how they can improve their website. The options are endless.

# 4 Make Money Online

The make money online niche is one of the biggest and best affiliate marketing niches you could focus on. Millions of people want to make money online, but don’t know how to do it. These folks are looking for coaches, courses and business opportunities.

You could leverage your expertise and offer these affiliate products to people in this niche. While it is a BIG and COMPETITIVE niche, there is plenty of opportunity to go around.

# 5 Network Marketing

Love it or hate it, network marketing is a huge industry. This is my primary niche and biggest passion. This niche does over $100 BILLION a year in sales; actually much more than that. It’s bigger than the movie industry. You could join a network marketing company and build it like an affiliate marketing business. That is what I do.

You could also sell leads, training courses, and business tools. I like to focus on the picks and shovels business in network marketing, because every network marketer needs more leads and more training.

# 6 Work from Home

Similar to the make money online niche, the work from home niche is also HUGE. In today’s world, people are tired of having crazy bosses and long commutes. People want to retreat to the comfort of their own home and earn their living while working from home in their pajamas. I can’t say I blame them.

These people looking to work from home need guidance. They are willing to buy courses about how to do it. You could serve as a coach or consultant. You could promote different work from home opportunities. The options are endless.

# 7 Blogging

how to make money with affiliate marketingThere are several hundred million blogs in existence, if not more. According to some online stats, there are more than 360 million blogs on TUMBLR alone. That is a huge number.

Bloggers are a great affiliate marketing niche because most of them are willing to spend money to learn new skills that will help them grow their blog. They are looking for ways to get more traffic, make more affiliate sales, generate more leads, and make more money!

You could promote auto-responders, custom themes, hosting services, custom plugins, and many other things to bloggers and make a great income doing so.

I like to promote Wealthy Affiliate, because it is a training platform for bloggers that will teach them everything they need to know to build a money making blog.

cbd niche# 8 CBD

If you haven’t heard of CBD yet, get ready to.

CannabidiolCBD—is a cannabis compound that has significant medical benefits, but does not make people feel “stoned” and can actually counteract the psychoactivity of THC.

CBD is growing in popularity because people are tired of taking prescription drugs and they are looking for ways to get healthy naturally. Many people claim that CBD helps them with anxiety, sleep, pain, depression and inflammation. I expect this niche will surpass all other niches on this list in the next year or two, even the weight loss niche.

# 9 FOREX

We should start out by defining FOREX. According to one online website:

Forex, also known as foreign exchange, FX or currency trading, is a decentralized global market where all the world’s currencies trade. The forex market is the largest, most liquid market in the world with an average daily trading volume exceeding $5 trillion.

FOREX is big business, even bigger than the world’s stock markets. You could sell books, courses, coaching, software programs and anything else that might help someone make money with FOREX.

# 10 Gold & Silver

I love buying gold and silver. So do millions of other people. It’s one of my favorite affiliate marketing niches. You could make money in this niche by:

  • Selling gold and silver coins
  • Selling Training courses on how to buy and sell gold and silver coins and bullion
  • Selling Gold 401k accounts
  • Promoting seminars and courses

There are lots of great affiliate programs in this niche, many of them paying several thousand dollars or more per sale.

# 11 Day Trading

To be quite frank with you, I know NOTHING about day trading. I’ve never done it. That being said, millions of people do it. Most of these folks are looking for any type of “insider secret information” that will help them become successful. You could promote software programs, courses and seminars. Just like gold and silver, many of these affiliate programs pay whopping commissions.

# 12 Health & Nutrition

health and nutritionJust like the weight loss industry, the health and nutrition industry is a great affiliate marketing niche. Why? Because people want to live longer and look and feel good on the inside and out: especially the Baby Boomers. People will fork over BIG BUCKS to improve their health and image.

You could promote things such as:

  • Courses on health and nutrition
  • Products
  • Seminars & Courses
  • Books

# 13 Cryptocurrency

Bitcoin… ever heard of it before? People in the cryptocurrency niche are extremely passionate about it. They’re always looking for ways to make more money with cryptocurrency. They take courses, buy books, software programs and whatever else will give them the cutting edge. There are so many cryptocurrency affiliate programs to choose from, and many of them pay big commissions.

This is definitely a growing niche. Cryptocurrency gets more popular each year. It’s definitely an affiliate marketing niche worth exploring.

# 14 Sex

Sex… Well, I shouldn’t have to elaborate on this one too much, but SEX is a big industry. It’s something MOST people want more of. People want it more often, they want to be satisfied, and they want excitement in the bedroom. Many people are willing to pay BIG BUCKS to learn the tricks of the trade.

You could promote affiliate products such as sex toys, sex seminars, books, training courses, and hundreds of other things, to make money online.

# 15 Cell Phones

Everyone’s got one. Cell phones are a great niche. Amazon alone offers TONS of different cell phones you can recommend and earn a commission by doing so. You could write reviews of different cell phones. You could sell cell phone services. You could compare two different cell phones in a video. The options really are endless.

# 16 Credit Cards

Just like cell phones, just about everyone has at least one credit card. In addition, there are many different credit card affiliate programs to choose from. Plus, you can earn $100 or more per referral with many of these programs. You could write articles about how to find the right credit card.

# 17 Credit Repair or Debt Relief

Many people struggle with debt and are looking for a solution. There are several high paying debt relief affiliate programs you can promote and earn affiliate commissions. I like this niche because it’s HUGE, and it keeps growing. I’d bet at least 98 out of every 100 people you meet have a TON of debt. Even if you are a small fish in this big pond, you could rake in piles of affiliate commissions.

How to Reach These Affiliate Marketing Niches

There are many ways to reach these affiliate marketing niches. You could:

  1. Start your own website
  2. Set up a YouTube Channel
  3. Focus on Email Marketing
  4. Start Your Own Podcast Channel
  5. Build up an Instagram Following
  6. Leverage Pay Per Click Ads
  7. Build up a Facebook Audience
  8. And so much more!

The options are endless. Ideally, you should set up your own website or blog first, and then leverage social media and advertising to get added exposure. That way you have a hub of operations.

Where to Find Affiliate Products?

best place to find affiliate productsFinding affiliate products to promote is actually quite easy to do. Here are a few places to start your search.

  1. Clickbank
  2. Amazon
  3. Commission Junction
  4. Share a Sale

Whatever niche you choose, just go to Google and search for “your niche affiliate products” and you are bound to find some great options.

One Final Tip

When it comes to these affiliate marketing niches, you really want to look for a product or service that offers residual commissions. Generate the customer one time and keep getting paid every time they come back and reorder.

This is why I focus on network marketing. I simply build my network marketing business like an affiliate marketing business, and get leverage and residual income. Best of all, I do not have meetings or bug friends and family.

Final Thoughts

There you have it folks. These are my top 17 affiliate marketing niches. Which one of these niches stands out to you and why? Leave a comment below to let me know which niche you focus on. I look forward to hearing from you. Have a great day!

  1. Thanks for giving us your top 13 best affiliate marketing niches. My favorite niche that you listed is cryptocurrency. I love Bitcoin, so this might be a great fit for me. It is a great article that is informative and educative. Thanks for your advice. I’ll keep you updated with my progress.

    • Seun,

Cryptocurrency is definitely a great niche to focus on. Bitcoin enthusiasts are hungry for information about how they can make more money with it. As a result, they are always looking for products and information that can help them do that. That’s where good content and the right affiliate products come in. Thanks for visiting my blog today.

  2. Hey there! This article is really helpful and amazing as well. What do you think about the niche related to technology, especially if we look at the smartphones? Almost everyone is interested in buying one decent smartphone, and so I feel like this a really big market, What are your ideas about it?

    • I think smart phones would be a great affiliate marketing niche. Amazon alone provides tons of different affiliate products to choose from. Best of all, many of these smart phones are expensive, which means you could earn a nice commission when someone makes a purchase. You got this! Thanks for the comment.

  3. I have started my own website after so much researching and now I am looking for niches to start off with the content. This article had some wonderful choices and it also explained why they can be really successful. Thank you so much for sharing these affiliate marketing niche ideas with us. I am going to choose from this list and start my content on my website.

  4. Thank you for sharing these 13 affiliate marketing niche ideas. I have always heard that the weight loss niche and health and wellness niche were both huge.

I had never thought of network marketing as a niche. $100 billion in sales is huge. I know what networking in real life is.  I view it is basically expanding your circle of people that you know, typically in a shared social activity.

In time, if you become friends or good acquaintances, they might be interested in buying something from your business. Yet, I have no clue what it is from an online aspect. What exactly is the network marketing niche about?

    Thanks in advance.

    • Sondra,

The network marketing industry niche is simple writing about network marketing and providing information to the millions of people who do network marketing and direct sales. I hope that answers your question. Thanks for visiting my blog.

  5. Your article is fantastic! I truly enjoyed reading it. You showed me so many different affiliate marketing niches to choose from. I strongly believe choosing the right niche for you is the best way to make money online.

I have a website and my chosen niche is about “healthy way to live”. You gave me the inspiration to promote courses, books, and seminars. Right now I only promote some herbal supplements through affiliate marketing, but with no results at all.

Thank you so much for sharing it. You opened my mind.

Thank you so much for sharing this information. It has opened my mind.

    • I would share two pieces of advice with you, Jacqueline.

First and foremost, focus on growing your traffic and audience. Until you have that mastered, it will be hard to make money with affiliate marketing.

Next, find 2-5 different affiliate products that you can focus on. Test each one for 90-days. Keep the winners, ditch the losers, and keep testing different affiliate products until you find what your audience is really looking for.

      Thanks for visiting my blog.

      Chuck

  7. These are all great affiliate marketing niches to focus on. A person can make a lot of money with any of these niches if they put in the time and effort to make it succeed. If you put your mind to it you can create just about anything you want online. Take your passion, pick a niche and go for it. Nothing can hold you back but yourself.

    • Thanks for visiting my blog, Cory. I agree that the sky is the limit. Most people starting a new online business have unrealistic expectations and aren’t willing to put in the work. For the right person, affiliate marketing and making money online is possible. I couldn’t imagine doing anything else!

      Chuck

  8. Very fitting and useful article covering your best affiliate marketing niches, Chuck. You have done a great job of researching and presenting the facts.

You have shown me some avenues to consider as I progress towards building a successful and profitable blog.

It seems that the further along I get the more relevant the topic here become. Now all I need to do is sort out the information that fits my goals and get busy.

    Thanks

    • Glad I could be of help, Barry. Thanks for visiting my blog.

  9. I think the make money online niche is the best, because people are always looking for ways to make money online. It is a great niche. I’ve created my own website around that topic and it’s doing quite well. All of the affiliate marketing niches you listed here offer a ton of potential. Thanks for sharing.

    • Yes, the make money online niche is huge, and very profitable. It’s a great niche. I try to capitalize on it myself, just like you do.

  10. How would you differentiate between weight loss and health & nutrition? It sure seems like those are the same niche…but I could be missing something.  Both of these niches seem saturated (and beauty products) but I could be wrong, it could just be my perception.

The thing these niches have going for them is that they “sell” consumables….so people are always going to be replenishing.  It’s a good thing when your customers have to buy more of a product each month!

While you have provided some great examples of broad niche groups, do you have any suggestions or more specific niches?  Almost like a micro-niche?  I’ve heard that you’ll get better/faster results if you pick a niche that is very specific.  As an example, if weight loss you might focus your niche on Keto supplements.

Anyway, always enjoy reading your stuff.  Keep up the good work!

    • Health and nutrition niches might include:

Recipes, top supplements or vitamins, eating organic, meal planning, etc.

For sub niches, you could pick any of the 13 niches I mentioned. For example, with weight loss, you could pick:

Natural weight loss, best weight loss supplements, weight loss for women, weight loss in your 40s, natural weight loss, and so much more.

I really like sub-niches, as long as you don’t box yourself in with something too small to draw enough visitors to your website. I hope that helps.

  11. I’m surprised I’ve never seen someone actually breakdown the top niches for affiliate marketting before! I really like these, and I’ve been thinking it might be time for me to start up a second website soon, so these are actually really helpful. Did you use any statistics to come up with this list, or is it more just your personal opinion?

    • This is just my personal opinion from nine years of affiliate marketing. Of course, it is very subjective. And, there are literally hundreds of great niches to choose from. This post is designed to get people thinking and open them up to the possibilities. That’s it. Thanks for stopping by my blog.

  12. Very good post sir!

I have read through all these comments and I would like to mention that the best niche is one a person has a passion for. Even if it seems to be saturated, if you have passion, you will “stand out” and be recognized as an authority.

Keep these great posts coming… They are delightful to read and you have an excellent teaching ability. Thank you for donating your time and knowledge.

    • It definitely helps to have a passion for it, but there also needs to be a demand. For example, if your passion is one eyed goldfish, you might be passionate about that niche, but I highly doubt it is big enough to monetize effectively. Of course, that is just my opinion. What you really want to do is combine your passion with something that is IN DEMAND and not overly competitive. Just my thoughts.
      Chuck

  13. Great information for affiliate marketers for the upcoming year. I think most of them make sense. I also think it is actually sad that weight loss is so big. Sad because people just keep using the fad diets.

I think CBD is going to be really big for affiliates. I already joined one myself.

SEO is big but changes so quickly, thanks to Google, it is hard to keep up.

Online, home based, money making opportunities will be big for years to come.

    Thanks for the useful info.

    • Yes, all of these niches are huge. I still believe CBD will experience the biggest growth in the years to come. I keep adding niches to this list as I learn about them. I’m sure there are hundreds of other money making affiliate marketing niches that are flying quietly under the radar. Thanks for the comment.

  14. This is perfect for getting ideas on affiliate marketing niches. It’s a bit overwhelming trying to come up with ideas. Now the tough thing is deciding which one to pursue! Though I suppose it should be something that is of interest to you, and you would be motivated to work on. Thanks for the comprehensive list!

    • Glad I could help, Fiona. Yes, picking an affiliate marketing niche that interests you definitely helps. You just need to make sure the niche you pick is big enough, and profitable enough, to make it worth your time. That’s where a lot of people mess up.

  15. I enjoyed reading your article about the best affiliate marketing niches and was pleased to see ‘blogging’ in the list, which is a niche I focus on. I had been wondering whether it was such a good decision since there seems to be so much competition.

Of course that’s a good thing if you can get a small piece of the pie. The reason why I like blogging is because you can create an independent business around so many different interesting areas.

I would say though that it takes a bit of time to establish yourself and find your tribe.

    Mark

    • For most people, it’s going to take them at least five years to build up their tribe and online presence. That’s how long it took me. At year 7 and 8 it started to get really good. Things just take time. The bigger and more competitive your niche, the harder you will have to work, but if you can figure it out, the bigger your reward will be.

Smaller niches are easier to win, but offer less upside potential. Just my two cents. Thanks for the comment. My affiliate marketing niches are network marketing, military and make money online. So far, my network marketing niche has had the biggest payout.

  16. Interesting post, Chuck. There are plenty of niches and sub-niches that we have to start a blog, but it all depends on which of the 17 or more, is the best fit for my time and knowledge.

I am a Forex and Oil trader. I really enjoy it. But I wouldn’t go with blogging about trading just because I am not comfortable creating content about a profession that in my opinion, is very subjective to the type of personality you have, to go and trade in the markets.

I prefer more something like Online Marketing, because there are so many avenues where to start and build a great Blogging site. At the end of the day, it all depends on how confident a person can be within a niche. Just my 2 cents.

    • Good points. We definitely need to pick a niche we are comfortable with. Online marketing is very competitive, but is also a great niche because millions and millions of people are looking to make money online!

  17. Almost every post I’ve read on the top affiliate marketing niches has the make money online and health/wellness on their lists. However, I’m often told that they are pretty much saturated already, hence very competitive that’s why I am having second thoughts if I should build a business on these niches.

With weight loss, isn’t this quite broad? There are so many ways to lose weight, which means I won’t be running out of topics to write. But do you suggest I narrow it down to  something like: ways to lose weight naturally or how to lose weight fast? Honestly, there are so many things that are running through  my head right now, perhaps as a result of over-analyzing things, lol.

By the way, if I am interested in two niches, is it okay to build two websites at the same time? I was told that it’s better to focus on one first and once you start making good money then you can build a second one. What do you think?

    • Big affiliate marketing niches require a ton of hard work to get ranked in the search engines. You’ll need to create hundreds and hundreds of pages of content, and tons of inbound links.

That’s pretty hard to do for the novice. I do not recommend starting two websites at the same time. Focus is key. If you spread yourself too thin you won’t get very good results.

When it comes to the weigh loss niche, maybe you should consider holistic weight loss or herbal weight loss or lose weight naturally. That is much better than just regular weight loss. Thanks for the comment tonight.

  18. Thank you for sharing this article with us, Chuck.

The niches you selected are amazing. It certainly has a lot of credibility coming from someone with 9+ years of successful affiliate marketing experience .

In fact some of these niches I consider CORE niches, because people will ALWAYS be interested in learning more about them: sex, health, money, nutrition, etc.

Let´s take me, for example, a newbie. I´m just starting my online business and focusing on creating a product, building my website, planning my marketing campaigns, and setting up an online shopping cart/store.

I have this great idea for a product. It´s a sure winner. So, I develop a whole business around that product. But my first step is missing: figuring out if there´s a market for that product.

Are there actual customers out there who want to buy it?.That´s the first thing I must determine. Not all niches are profitable. I´m grateful that you pointed out that the market comes first and the product second.

    • Enrique,

I’m glad I could help. Yes, the market is more important than the product. So many entrepreneurs fall in love with their product before they determine if there is a legitimate WANT and NEED for that product. They also fail to come up with a marketing plan for their product. No product sells itself. Even an exceptional product needs an exceptional marketing plan. Just my 2 cents.

      Chuck

  19. Wow! Awesome content.

I am in the laptop niche but don’t know how to use share a sale to leverage commissions

    Can you help me there?

    • You can check out Amazon, Share a Sale, Best Buy or other affiliate programs that offer laptop computer, accessories, or anything similar. I hope that helps.

  20. This is an interesting and helpful post and I must say I found your post highly uplifting and educational.

To be honest when I started my blogging career I spent nearly two months in my niche selection and finally I ended up with the one which I selected on day one.

How I wish I had found your article sooner when I first started! I had to go through the old way of trial and error.

This guide is going to be very helpful for many in choosing their affiliate marketing niche. It will help people save time and money!

    Much Success!

    Paul

    • Glad I could be of help, Paul. Starting right is important. We all make mistakes when we first get started with affiliate marketing. I wish I would have chosen a better affiliate marketing niche when I was first starting out.

  21. I found this article amazing! Thanks for sharing your thoughts on so many different affiliate marketing niches. I am looking into blogging right now, and I read your article on that as well. Right now I am doing the Work At Home Niche. I’m also looking into other ones you have on your list. I never even considered CBD. Thanks for sharing with us!

    • Hey Tina. I’m glad I could help. The Work from Home niche is really competitive, but if you can rank high for a few of the keywords, you can get a ton of traffic. I wish you HUGE success.

  22. You’ve really given me a few great ideas here mate. Thanks. Weight loss, health and nutrition and affiliate marketing are all things that I would like to pursue.

I believe cell phones would also make a great niche. I mean, everyone has a cell phone. From what I hear, there are some big margins on electrical goods and what a market.

Thanks for the ideas on different affiliate marketing niches. You definitely got me thinking!

    • Glad I could be of help, Paul. I agree that cell phones would be a great niche. You could sell cell phones, plans, accessories and lots of great things. The sky is the limit. Plus, I bet the CPC payout from Adsense is pretty good for that niche. Win-win!

  23. Man, you speak the truth! And I can’t get enough of your website, it’s amazing, truly one of the best “make money” sites I’ve seen in a long time. I would say you’re spot on with #14 Sex, it’s so true that Sex Sells and you can profit handsomely from the promotion of it to others, along with #2 SEO, where affiliates really only need to refer 2 sales a month and they will easily make $60,000 per year. This is the average income of any of our SEO company affiliates.

    • Sex and SEO. Sounds like a 1-2 combination for me. I agree that SEO is big business. The commissions you can earn can easily be over $1,000 per sale, if not much more than that. Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment.

      Chuck

  24. This is an awesome article. I have a website that focuses on investing. It currently focuses on longer term trading but I will also start to feature day trading, real estate, precious metals, and peer to peer loans as investments. I noticed three of the niches you listed fall in line with my site so I must be doing something right!

I would like to add Offervault as a resource for finding affiliate offers. You can go to Offervault and type in your niche and the site will provide all affiliate networks that offer good affiliate opportunities!

    • Awesome, Eric. I’m glad you liked these affiliate marketing niches. I’m happy that three of these niches fell in line with your website. I’m never heard of Offervault, but I will go and check it out. I appreciate the recommendation.

      Chuck

  25. What a great list of affiliate marketing niches to focus on. I have my one niche site up and running and am working on the second. I appreciate the time you’ve invested to share this with others.

I was reviewing some of the niches you’ve mentioned and can see a few of them working well for me. I’m not sure how to approach #14. It I’m sure there are many avenues to take advantage of.

Your ways to reach these niches is great too. I’ll have to check out Pay Per Click as I haven’t yet.

Commission Junction is new to me as well. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.

    • Glad I could be of help, Scott. There are so many great niches and sub-niches someone can focus on. I like these affiliate marketing niches because they have LOTS of hungry buyers willing and able to spend money and buy stuff that you recommend. You can find an untapped niche, but if there aren’t enough hungry buyers, or affiliate products to promote, it can be tough to make money online with affiliate marketing. Just my two cents.

  26. I was very happy to read your article and see that it looks like I have been focusing my energy in the right direction, and for that I am thankful. I work very hard on my blog, and I spend quite a lot of time on it, so I would hate to spin my wheels for naught. Yay!  Sometimes the stars do align.

I have been researching CBD for about a year, and I’m finally getting involved in it. I ordered products and tried them out, and I have to say I’m extremely impressed. All the research points to miraculous results. That’s my newest venture. Glad to see it made your list.

    • Yes, CBD is a huge niche for affiliate marketers and it is going to continue to grow in the next few years. Even getting a little piece of that pie can make someone a lot of money. Even if you have a different niche, offering a few affiliate CBD products on your website would be a good idea.

  27. It seems making money and health are always going to have an audience in which one can target. A lot of people have a problem coming up with niches to create their websites on and most of the time go for too broad a niche.

With making money and weight loss niches the best thing to do would be to target a particular audience in that broad niche. I think it is the best way to succeed in such evergreen niches because the competition is so much in those niches.

    • Great points, Jay. With these affiliate marketing niches that I listed in the post, what I would suggest someone do is do their research and find a sub-niche. Just to give people an example, let’s start with weight loss.

Rather than picking the weight loss niche, which is ultra competitive, you would be much better off focusing on a sub-niche, such as:

      Natural weight loss

      Weight loss for women

      Herbal weight loss

      Weight loss without dieting

      Or something similar

These niches are less competitive and offer a tremendous opportunity. That is what I recommend.

  28. Hi Charles,

This is really awesome, but that is what you always crank out my friend, great posts that we can sink our teeth into and really go to work.

Affiliate marketing can sometimes be tough, especially for newbies, that’s why I appreciate you putting out these affiliate marketing niches to encourage their focus.

In respect to your final thought, I would say working from home stands out. Why? It saves you money, saves you startup money, and you don’t need to buy or rent a building

    • Choosing the right affiliate marketing niche is vital. You can pick something you love, but if that niche is too small or doesn’t buy much stuff online, you are going to struggle. Ultimately, you want a hungry audience with money to spend. That is probably the best tip I can share with anyone.

  29. I’m glad the weight loss niche made your list of best affiliate marketing niches to focus on. This is what I decided to make a website about. I have struggled to lose weight for such a long time. I’ve tried many different diets. This is why I decided to create a website about weight loss. I wanted to help other people and share my experiences with others.

    • Awesome, Erick. Yes, the weight loss niche is HUGE. It’s really competitive, but if you can capture even a TINY piece of that traffic, you can make a great income with it. Here’s to your success.

  30. Picking any one of these affiliate marketing niches and developing a solid business around it could definitely prove to be very profitable for anyone willing to put the time and effort into it. One thing I think everyone should have on their tool belt of knowledge is Marketing Theory 101. This lays the foundation for being able to not only know how to sell or when to sell but can also assist you in figuring out what to sell. You can take a free online course that is sponsored by a respected university as an “audit” or pay if you want a professor to critique and grade your work. You can find it on the organization site Course and search “Introduction to Marketing”.

    • Thanks, John. I’m glad you agree with me that these affiliate marketing niches offer tremendous opportunity.

      Chuck

  31. You’re so right with the list.

Weight loss is number one. It seems nowadays we tend to concentrate on how much weight we have put on and how much we have lost.

Gone are the days where one doesn’t care of his or her weight. From what I figured out on the SEO tool, found out that weight loss is among the top ten most searched word and it would surely be the best niche to jump into.

Thanks for this post. Now I have a variety of niches to jump into and make some money.

    • Yes, you can’t go wrong with the weight loss niche for affiliate marketing. It is HUGE and really competitive, but even if you can capture a tiny fraction of those sales, you can make a small fortune.

  32. Hello Chuck,

This is a nice review of the Top 17 Best Affiliate Marketing Niche to Focus On. In your review you briefly described 17 different niches, some of which I did not know before reading your review.

However, I liked CBD most. CBD products are amazing and have helped many people improve their health and quality of life.

I also have interest in FOREX trading. Do you know how to do that and how to become successful with it?

Thank you so much for such a nice review.

    Radeet

    • Like you, I love the CBD niche. I know very little about FOREX trading, although it does sound very interesting. Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment.

  33. I think blogging is by far the easiest one for most people and it can lead to the other ones. I know a lot of people get stumped on what to write about, but if you think about it you write your own blog every day. Rather, it’s chatting with people on Facebook or conversing with family members. There’s typically some topic that grabs your goat every day and allows you to get on a soapbox.

Your family and friends may get tired of listening to you, but your readers want more 🙂 Thanks for this very informative post. Will definitely use some of this knowledge.

    • Yes, we are all bloggers, even if we don’t realize it. Most people talk, write and socialize every day of their lives, but do not get paid for it. With a blog, you have the best of both worlds.

  34. What a great article covering the 17 best affiliate marketing niches to consider. Many of these are good niches to look into. I actually like network marketing using the power if the internet to find other business opportunity seekers. This means you can find people faster compared to traditional network marketing methods, like attending meetings, asking your friends and family, etc. The internet is a vast space with tons of opportunities in every conceivable niche.

    • Definitely. I build my MLM Business like an affiliate marketing business. It has worked very well for me. I also agree with you about niches. There are probably MILLIONS of niches online that people could tap into and monetize.

  35. I have participated in several of these niches over the last 15-years. All of the choices were never displayed together in this format, which allows someone to make a comparison with all the other popular choices available. I would like to have seen something like this website 15-years ago.

Of course the training for each option has gotten much better and your website provides links to sites that provide helpful tips for newbies. Overall, very well done and no improvements needed.

    • Glad you liked my affiliate marketing niches. Like you, I have participated in several of these niches myself, and still do.

  36. Thank you for sharing your detailed list of affiliate marketing niches to focus on. I wish I could concentrate on just about all of them, and build a website for each. That would be nice.

I like that you added enough information to help me make a better choice. I’m looking to expand my affiliate marketing business.

SEO can be fun and hard work, it takes time to learn how to perform SEO marketing right, but I like it.
Website design, web development, and SEO can keep a business going for years.

I would have never thought of selling gold or silver. CBD is becoming very popular, but it’s starting to hit a few bumps in the road with some companies not regulating their products.

You have great content on your website. I bookmarked it and will be looking to learn more in the future.

    • Yes, all of these affiliate marketing niches have pros and cons. All of them offer plenty of ways to make money online if you can find a way to stand out in the marketplace.

  37. These are some great affiliate marketing niches. A few of them I would personally stay away from, but many others are quite interesting. You could definitely make money with any of these niches if you could find a way to capture a small percentage of the audience. Having your own theme based website or YouTube channel could be a good way to do that.

    • Yes, having a YouTube channel or website focusing on one of these niches, but with a twist, would be a great way to make money in any of these affiliate marketing niches.

  38. These are all great affiliate marketing niches. About 8 or 9 of them really excite me. I think you could make money in any of these niches. They are really competitive, but there are millions of people in each of these affiliate marketing niches that you could sell products and services to.

    • Yes, that’s what I like about these affiliate marketing niches. Even though there is some competition, there are millions of potential customers. You just need a small piece of the pie to make a great income.

  39. What a great list of affiliate marketing niches. My favorite two are FOREX and CBD. Both of those sound very interesting to me and I believe I could make good money in both of those niches. The other ideas are good as well. Do you think it would be hard to do well in these niches, considering the competition you would have to deal with?

    • The competition is tough, but you do only need a small piece of that pie to do well.

  40. Another great one Chuck. I have also picked up on another thing that would be really good to do and I just figured it out after replying on some comments.

I am going to hang onto the idea for myself and possibly implement it into a product or course that I design, later on that is. I am fully focused on content now, as I build my two sites.

One niche is making money online, of course, but my second is focused on dogs. I plan on this one being a long term one, as I have left the field open to dogs in general.

I do focus on content and product reviews that way I drive traffic to my reviews. What is your opinion on that? Also if maybe you had some contact info for me, I would be interested in obtaining that.

I guess I got off my comment, But as you can see, I really enjoy your ideas.

    To The Future,

    George

    • Focusing on dogs is a great niche. People love their pets. I am not against writing reviews. I just recommend people actually test out the product they are reviewing.

  41. This is some really valuable advice.

I’m in the process of brainstorming affiliate marketing niches myself. I want something I am passionate about, has enough demand, but isn’t so competitive I don’t have a chance to ever rank my website high.

I think all of the niches on this list would be hard to rank for, especially for a newbie. Would you suggest starting with a less competitive niche first?

    • A less competitive niche would work fine assuming it has plenty of people in the niche who are hungry and willing to pay for information, products or services.

  42. Wow! This article covering the best affiliate marketing niches is awesome. I joined the platform Wealthy Affiliate some weeks back and I’m yet to create my website, because I couldn’t just create the perfect niche for my website. All the possible niches I could come up with are not easy to monetize and that’s the major reason I’m yet to set up a website. Thankfully, I came across this post and I couldn’t wish for more. Thank you so much for sharing this eye opener.

    • You make a good point. There are literally millions of niches, but not all are easy to monetize. You have to find something with the demand, but not too much competition, and something with plenty of affiliate programs you can promote.

  43. If I compare your list with all of the new websites on Wealthy Affiliate I’ve reviewed, it looks like weight loss, health & nutrition, and affiliate marketing are the most popular affiliate marketing niches. In addition, affiliate marketing, SEO, working from home, and blogging are quite popular.

I haven’t seen too many day trading, gold & silver or cryptocurrency websites.

    Very interesting.

    • There are definitely a lot of those websites on Wealthy Affiliate. There are so many niches. As long as there is enough demand, and it’s something you are passionate about, I would tell someone to go for it.

  44. Thanks so much for this information! I recently got into affiliate marketing. I am working on building up my one main niche website, but eventually I will be looking to add another .. and possibly another down the line. Your article gave me some great ideas for niches to focus on in the future.

    • Glad to help. My only advice would be don’t spread yourself too thin. Focus on one niche first, build up your following and monetize it. Trying to many niches at once is a recipe for failure.

  45. I recently joined Wealthy Affiliate and I am continuously learning new things every day. I’ve always wanted my own website. Right now, I am exploring possible niches to focus on. This article helped a lot.

I never considered ANY of the niches you mentioned in your article, but a few caught my eye.

Do you think the niche you choose is the most important thing, or is something else more important than that?

    • The niche is definitely important. There has to be a large enough pool of people to reach and they have to be willing and able to spend money online. Most niches meet that category, but not all of them.
